![]() ![]() Narelle is regularly approached to present at international, national and local dance conferences and workshops, including the 20 Royal Academy of Dance Conference. Throughout her career in the Allied Health industry Narelle has worked with dancers from the Australian Ballet Company, Australian Ballet School, Victorian College of the Arts and many wonderful ballet students throughout Victoria and Sydney. Her special interests include exercise rehabilitation and biomechanical retraining for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, all dance related clients and services and the health and wellbeing of young dancers. Narelle is an active member of the InSync dance team and invests many hours in the training and on-boarding of all dance physiotherapists and Pilates Instructors. Narelle returned to her home town of Melbourne in 2003, became one of the directors of InSync and then eventually became the sole owner and director of the practice. Narelle assisted with the development and management of numerous Pilates studios in Sydney while working as a mentor and trainer. Narelle’s dance background equipped her with a deep understanding of muscle control and training practices, which contributed significantly to her success in her new vocation as a Pilates Instructor. Sadly, injury curtailed her dancing career, but serendipitously introduced her to Pilates. Upon returning to Australia she danced with the West Australian Ballet and the Australian Ballet Company. Narelle comes from an elite dance background, studying at the Australian Ballet School prior to accepting a 4-year scholarship in Monte Carlo at age 17. She was an APMA accredited course provider and national examiner for many years, demonstrating her strong standing and reputation in the industry. Narelle is InSync’s proud owner and director and very reputable Pilates Practitioner.
